Special mentions: This hotel gym is little but certainly adequate – resistance training is looked after by the cable machine and portable bench.

The shopping centre underneath can be accessed via hotel internal doors, where there are 2 x gyms and a yoga studio. Ask the hotel about passes to use here.

The hotel’s in room compendium also claim to have weights, skipping ropes and yoga mats for use in your room, although we didn’t check whether they actually have any available.

What we like: The beach. Morning walks and runs along the beach are unbeatable, even better here because you catch the sunrise over the ocean.

Accor hotels have a great system where you can check flight information on the TV, this is such a great forward thinking feature!
