The view: About as iconic as you can get, the view is straight out to Melbourne’s yellow and red Flinders Street station building.

Special mentions: Almost across the road from the infamous Doherty’s gym, where travelling fitness junkies stop for their essential selfie and check in. Directly net door is a Fitness First Platinum. If you’re a runner, you are only a 5 min jog (including traffic lights) away from ‘The Tan’, and moments from the banks of the Yarra River where you can also join in on the action with fellow joggers – especially weekday lunch times.

The buffet brekkie has a DIY juicer machine which is fantastic if you don’t have the opportunity to pop into a nearby healthy cafe.

What we like: Like most Melbourne CBD hotels, your are located close to the Yarra River which offers a great walk or run route.
